Workspace supports adding multiple layers. Each layer has buttons to change its order, hide/show it, zoom to it, and remove it.

The layer dropdown menu offers additional functions, including viewing layer properties, displaying the attribute table, field table, PCP, and statistics, as well as renaming and duplicating the layer.
